Hi LS,
About your quotation from p 366 Bantam Lila (see below), I think after reading the
rest of that chapter (chapter 29 Lila), Mr. Pirsig is not isolating the MOQ into a
'pragmatism capsule'. Part of that quotation is also related to his analysis of
James's Philophy in relation to "Some problems of Phylosophy" which also includes
"radical empiricism" and something else that the MOQ adds which is the idea that
"primal reality of the SOM is derived from VALUE.

(see Ch. 29 p. 425, Corgi edition; one page before where the quotation was
extracted).
I will keep on reading all of your communications, but so far I've failed to make
the direct connection between MOQ-pragmatism-Power as you have stated it. However, I
must admit there is something there....You are cutting too deep and in the process
you lost me. Maybe the comments from other members will help me later.( In other
words I am back on square one. Can Anyone help?).
