Peter,

If I might interject a comment here.The worst outcome in the belief that
there will be an apocalypse and their enemies wiped out, is the beleif they
are in a war, which encourages violent attitudes, and since they believe that
this is inevitable they are discouraged from any serious efforts to overcome
this event.
