    Bob,

    In 1988, in a dusty corner of a small art "museum" on the grounds of Penn State
    University, I sat reading ZMM, having absolutely NO idea what the book was, or
    what it was about. It had been given to me with the simple words "read this".

    15 years later, with a motorcycle and daughter I've taken to the blue highways
    myself, always mindful of the symbolic journey that got my journey underway. It
    is for that I offer my deepest gratitude.
