There's a wide leeway for Pirsig (and you, and me) between Mother
Theresa and Atilla the Hun or Bill Gates. Profit is rarely anyone's
sole motive - even Mother Theresa had to raise money. Most ambitious
people simply want to make the biggest worthwhile dent they can in the
future. Money is means to many ends.
