Hi Matt:

Apropos of your interest in reading other philosophers, you might want
to read "Postmodernism and Truth" by Daniel Dennett at:
http://www.butterfliesandwheels.com/articleprint.php?num=13Postmoder
nism and truth
He describes Rorty as his "good friend" and says he and Rorty have
been "constructively disagreeing with each other for over a quarter of a
century now."
I found the paper interesting and believe you will, too. I was especially
struck by Rorty's apparent concession to what he calls "vegetarian"
concept of truth.
