As a white American I've heard ridiculous charges of racism so many times
that the term has long ago ceased to have the force for me that it really
should have, it just tends to make me think that the one making the claim
needs to get over himself. Perhaps it will work on Bo, but I don't think
so. (I think that's what he prefers to be called by the way. Come on, we
all go along with the squonk thing, don't we?)
There is real racism in the world. I wish you wouldn't contribute to
weakening the term by applying it here. You're like the touchy-feely
teacher I know who says that grading is a form of violence or the wacko
feminist who claims that an unwelcome sexual proposition is a form of rape.
A word like 'racism' deserves a little more respect as well. Lets save it
for when we really mean it. Try making a rational argument instead of
name-calling and labeling with emotionally charged words.

To avoid being bullied I'd like to go on record in saying that I am against
racism and everything else that everyone thinks is bad and that mean people
suck. (Oh, and for Platt's sake, 'Down with Communism!')
Thanks,
