    Hi

I like to think of it less as lost and more as broken out of.
Bhaskar in his philosophy of science argues for an underlying
unity below all progress in scientific thought, or any successful
communication, also love, art appreciations, etc.

    regards

Can an initial unity between them be explained?

      Hello David M,
I wonder if you ever got around to reading, The edge of Chaos?
There, you will find a description of precisely the interaction you are thinking about?
In a diagrammatic form it may be represented like this:

Event stream - DQ (SODV) --------> Coherence <-------- DQ as evolutionary goal (Lila)

Coherence is close to, and exceptionally the One, Tao, the way, 'it,' Unity, Mystic reality.
All this is found now, in activity where the self is lost.
      Native Americans do this well.
Here, the Quality of ZMM and the DQ/SQ conceptual MoQ touch.

      All the best,
      Mark
