I don't really think it is so sad. Like he said, his joining the list
would probably kill the discussion going on there. I'm glad he's
heard of it and I'm glad that he's pleased about it, but I'm also
glad he didn't join.
(That's not to say that it wouldn't have been nice to have him there
or to be able to ask him questions. :)
