My first thought on the cloning question.
Cloning is nothing new. It was the first method of reproduction
taken up by the biological level, and continues to the present day in
bacteria and such. That being the case, could one say that an
individual bacteria alive today is actually the same bacteria as the
first of its type? Anyone?
