Lila Squad becomes MOQ_focus
>From 1 October onwards the LS will be renamed MOQ_focus. We hope this will
make it clear that our two mailing lists are for two different purposes:
"MOQ_discuss" is for open discussion and "MOQ_focus" is for the monthly
focus questions. We are not changing the rules or procedures of either group
we just want to make the distinction between the two of them clearer.
On 1 October you should receive two emails - one telling you you've been
unsubscribed from LS and another telling you you've been subscribed to
MOQ_focus. Thereafter can you please send all LS/MOQ_focus posts to
moq_focus@moq.org.

Continuing September's Program
There have been a few suggestions that we should continue September's topic
for another month. Though it's not against any rules, I feel it would be
better to shift it over to MD and start something fresh on MF. This month's
dialog is becoming increasingly dispersed, and all kinds of interesting
ideas are emerging - which is why people want to continue I suppose. However
I think the usefulness of the focus has run its course for this topic and it
would be more productive to move it to the open forum and let the dialog expand
naturally for a while - we can always have another focus on the SOM and/or
intellectual level at a later date.
