Hi Mary, David, 3wd, others

Mary, I agree that greed probably resides in the biological level, but I feel
like money has become an essential part of the larger social level. It's like
the blood of society. In this sense there is a lot of
lower-level-influencing-higher-level stuff going on, and Pirsig would call
that immoral (maybe).

You have the intellectual level, which is the highest level of all (according
to MOQ), and it is controlled in many ways by the social level (the blood of
which is money, the root of which is biological greed).

David, sorry if I sounded like I was speaking for everyone else. I admit I
make many broad generalizations, but I never want to imply that I'm speaking
for anyone but myself.

3wd, thanks for the quote about people being addicted to dogma, it is so
true. I think I might seek out that book.

Jon
