There is a big difference. But there's really nothing more I should add, as I
know most MDers are weary of the subject, and I'm sorry if I was too harsh on
Ayn Rand. However, I would suspect that most people here would agree that her
philosophy is in direct conflict with Pirsig's MOQ. Pirsig rejects focusing
on subject or object, and Rand picked the latter of the two.

I'll shut up about money now. In closing I would note that once again this
topic has failed to achieve any kind of consensus; I think this reflects
America's various ambiguous opinions about money, and why it's often
difficult to get things done. (In fairness I should add that failure to
achieve consensus is not uncommon in our group.)

So once again we spin the great wheel of topics and await the next subject;
the topic of money whirls (thankfully for many) away. But it's part of the
wheel, and one day it will be back.
