Hi,

Perhaps I'm feeling a little defensive here.

Bottom line the arrogance of the "scientific acolyte" is bogus pure
and simple. People advocating this stance are no more intelligent than
those people whom slaughtered lambs to the Gods yet they hold that by
some magic influence of "science" that they are in a superior stance.
That is not to imply superior intelligence to those against the
stance, simply to point out that intelligence is something <other>.

Knowing how little you know and how much you take on faith is a rather
simple first step. I *know* that I have not carried out the scientific
experiments upon which the scientific portion of my life depends. I
take much on faith.

Perhaps Glenn you have. I leave to others whether to afford veracity
to any such claims. I hold that there is not enough time in a lifetime
where one can verify all the basic assumptions that it is necessary to
make in order to live in the world of wonders we find ourselves in.

regards,
Ian
