Hi all;
I spent reading MOQ archives all summer long before joining and gaining the
courage to open up some cans of worms.
I am an assistant professor of industrial design using ZMM and LILA as text
books in courses. I did have some exchange of ideas with the author himself
and I am living on the land where Aristoteles, or Homeros has lived, on the
Aegean coast of Anatolia (riding motorcycle to work and sailing amongst
Aegean islands). You may understand why those two books are a good companion
to me all my life.
Enough of me!
All I want to say at the moment is why not organize the MOQ conference on
these lands where those Greek philosophers seeded the first thoughts related
to MOQ today. I do believe that this land (Pergamum, Assos, Troy, Old
Symrna) and the Aegean sea had a great influence on shaping those ideas.
Isn't it nice to dig the earth Pirsig mentions in his first book as ruined
by following cultures? And it may be the one and only chance for the members
of the group to see this geography and another culture of Qs.
