I have felt for many years now that this is a good path to Quality:

Expose oneself to as many examples of quality as one may reasonably discover
in ones life. Observe good art in the gallery; read good books from the
library; listen to works by the great composers, etc: and in this manner one
will find Quality.

It really is that simple.
