Jonathan Sacks, Chief Rabbi, said on British TV last night;

'All life springs from the same source yet everything that lives is
different'

If only more people understood, and celebrated this fact.

Jon,

You are right in question Platt's statement, which i believe reflects a huge

amount of ignorance on his part. Mentioning Palestine as a country to be
destroyed is ridiculous. Yasser Arafat was the first of any world leader to

express remorse at the horrible events. Yet the media chose to focus on the

Palestinian children dancing and celebrating. They dont know any better,
their ignorance can be compared to the ignorance of American kids in the
fifties who hated Russians for no rational reason besides the fact that
Russia was portrayed negatively by the media. As long as the same ignorance

which affects Platt also causes people to burn down American mosques, rape
Pakistani girls, cause Howard Stern to advocate violence against Arabs in
the
US, and bring about an unjustified negative image of the Muslim community in

America, we will never progress in our understanding of the different
cultures which make the US the greatest and most Dynamic country on earth.

Rasheed
