I have been wrestling with this one for a month or two now, and can't settle
on anything that does it service. Kinda like Quality, huh?

Ah. I've been thinking about that one too, I know what you mean.

I have been looking around at other people's definitions lots, and it seems
to me that most people who define information do it to help them accomplish
some task. I don't think I've seen any definition so far intended for
purposes similar to ours.

Hmm.

Isn't information just value realized? It's the concrete result of
experience, our "map".
