in the same column but two down on the list is another article I think
you may find apropos. It is referred to as "A good scientific theory has to
be beautiful" and describes the life of physicist Paul Dirac who "had an
almost religious faith that nature's fundamental laws have
(mathematical) beauty."
Rod, I think you will especially like this piece because it relates to the
"elegance" you spoke of. Other members of the discussion group with
experience in science (Jonathan, Glenn?) may also find the article of
interest.
3WD sees a connection between the MOQ and the the work of
Christopher Alexander . "Both in the end come to similar conclusions.
Quality is a unity and moral order." IMO this connection holds more
promise than trying to make the MOQ compatible with Ken Wilber.
