Hi Wim

I am starting to see your point.... who did introduce the " leading nation",
I agree there are more important things than american TV shows, and I
certainly want this discussion to be one of the progress of mankind, not
just a certain section of it.

My fear is we must avoid taking the moral high ground in defining too
rigidly, the paths to a more utopian society.

If we were to be democratic about this then the chinese culture of Taoism ,
who have more followers than all the other religions combined, would have
the greatest say in the " right Path",........ a situation I would be more
than happy to follow.

 But as we are not likely to do this, any discussion must from my part take
account of this and other factors.
Please let us avoid the arrogant belief that west is best, and east is least
