Consider the existential properties of sound. Mind is
the same.

Note: Your question has the presumption that the mind
is "in" something. This is inductive reasoning. It
goes something like .... Everything I know of can be
said to be "in" something, therefore the mind is "in"
something. Folly (according to Popper and me).
