OK, here is one way to do it:
Hit CONTROL+', e -- that is hold down CONTROL and ', release them, and
then hit e
e can be done with CONTROL+`, e
A second way to do it is: Go to your word processing application, open up
the Symbols Font via the Insert menu, search for the e (or any other
'symbol' you want) you want, and cut and paste it into your email text.
This second way is combersome, but it will also let you see all the neat
symbols you can use. How about... T
