I'm not sure what "social issues" you have in mind, but I think the point
needs to be emphasized that there is a vast and crucial difference
between the power of business to limit others' freedom and the police
power of government to do the same.

Yes, I probably understated the case by saying they were as prone to abuse as
anyone else. I think history shows that the leaders of society (big men,
chiefs, emperors, kings, lords, czars, Fuhrers, vangaurd of the proletariat,
congressmen, etc etc) are the MOST likely sources of exploitation. I fail to
understand how it is that so many people can see a bigger threat in Microsoft
than they see in government. Does history teach us nothing?
