Hi Gary,
Thanks for a most interesting response.
I have not pasted it into this post of mine because your response is long and
i may not get through what with the limit on posting size and everything! But
i should wish to recommend it to anyone who would like an overview of
Wilber's enterprise.
Thank you for taking the time to explain things to me.
I appreciate it.
Remember that pile of sand analogy in ZMM?
Wilber wishes to scramble together the largest pile of sand he can, with
which to have a damn good sorting!
How impressive will this be!
The LARGEST pile of sand EVER!
It could not be done before the advent of the information technology
revolution?
The internet is creating the largest pile of sand imaginable!
Now, for the first time in history, vast libraries of works are available to
each and every individual with access to the net?
It HAD to happen.
SOMEONE would do it, and more besides?
We could write an algorithm to go out and search all by itself and report its
findings back maybe?
Its all out there waiting to be mapped like constellations in the heavens?
AND the damn thing works both ways for heaven's sake!
Not only may one gather together that which time and space had kept asunder,
but now one can proliferate ONTO the net!
The possibilities for one individual are enormous?
The money! The fame! The glory?
Bigger pile, more time spent looking in the wrong direction?
I hope you have not given up on me Gary?
I have not given up on you.
All the very best,
Squonk.
