After receiving 50 plus messages just this afternoon in this thread and
scanning a few of them I would suggest that y'all get Wilbur's book
"Quantum Questions" and read all the essay's. Particularly the one's by
Einstein titled, " Cosmic Religious Feeling" and "Science and Religion"
and by Sir Arthur Eddington, titled " Defense of Mysticism". Most of the
issues in this thread were discussed, understood, and to a large extent
resolved at that intellectual level at least 60 years ago. It's just
that it takes that long for issues like this to finally filter down, or
out, to this more populus level and diverse forum . Hopefully, after
reading them it might pare the verbage on both sides of the
science/religion divide down to a dull roar. Possibily a more
understandable and understanding one. But who knows.
