Fintan asks:

<< Now I see that the FREE market rests opon the increasing SLAVERY of all.
Perhaps after all, Government by those restrained by a religious impetus is
preferable to
government by those impelled by greed and acquisition. If you gave me a
choice right now
between Billy Gates and Mahatma Ghandi I know who I would pick- WHATEVER the
system of government. Which of the two would you pick?>>>>>>>
>>

I choose Bill. As long as nobody restricts my right to choose Mac if I so
desire.......And as I see it they better have force to back them up when they
try to stop me. As long as have dynamic freedom from government or other
forces of brute social strength I will be just fine. The Free Market....read
free choice.......is better , much better than any alternative prescribed by
me , by you, by Ghandi, or by The Malnutrition Website.

MOQ contains the answers here too, but they don't point to our slavery to the
poor. Live our lives right. Encourage intellectual freedom ,which requires
physical and economic freedom too (note I say freedom, not comfort ). Enjoy
and cherish the Dynamic. Be moral.

To paraphrase another philosopher, Bill Gates didn't create poverty, he
inherited it. Until Microsoft, I didn't even know how to use a computer. I
appreciate my software, and I appreciate The Lila Squad that countless people
such as Bill helped make possible. I am not worried about Gates, I am
worried about a government with force telling me that Netscape is the choice.
(Please note I am not aware or arguing the case......I just don't want the
Govt to tell me what to do or tell Microsoft what they can't do.) For the
record, I currently reside in Silicon Valley surrounded in a sea of Mr. Gates
resentful enemies.

By the way, Fintan, I love your passion and support your choice on the matter
too.

Choose Well Friend,

Roger
