GAEL FORCE WINDS ARE FORECAST

Hi Lithien, Glove

>dear fintan, you ask:
>>>So why can some not see the validity of pre-intellectual experience?
>"Security is a mortal's chiefest enemy"

Or consider this:
"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players"

So, even that long ago, the Bard of Avon realised that our Zombies
are just characters in the play of life in our collective heads!

>>I would go say that it is on the conscious side of the
>>brain that the word Zombie would best be applied.
>fintan! that is what the articles allude to. the fact that many times
when we are "conscious" we are really on automatic pilot.

Oops, I was slow on the uptake there. But why did they focus on the zombie-
they should have focussed on the right brain and called the articles "The
Author Within" ! !

>fintan also says:
>The instinctual author of our actions is AWARE and is
>connected to the Collective un-conscious.
>
>lithien:
>it depends on how we define awareness. glove and i read The Origins of
Consciousness by Jaynes are you acquainted with the book?
>it's great.

So how is awareness defined there?

Lithien>
>i want to remain an explorer all my life.

Just stay Jung at Heart like you are right NOW!

>fintan, glove and i have decided we want to get drunk with you in an >Irish
pub! i think it would be immensely gratyfying...

Gaels with Sails by Fintan Mary Dunne
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We are the Gaels, the Western Gaels
Our beds are boats in which we tell tall tales,
Of the needs, the deeds, the screams and schemes.
That we dream at night....
When our sheets are sails.

For when we go to bed
O, the west wind howls,
And our beds turn boats,
With our sheets as sails.

love
