I think I read a similar if not the same story in one of D.T. Suzuki's fine books.
What occurred to me when reading it was that the Moon is easy to see, but if you
replace Moon with Star (any one, take your pick) then the story takes on a
different slant. The hand can get in the way and it is not always obvious which
Star one is pointing at. Do you see my point?
