Dear Lithien and Paul Nestadt.
Come off it you two. I can't understand how observing the rules of
the MD hampers any freedom of discussion. For instance, to
reproduce miles of irrelevant "original message" can't be that
important, it merely shows that you don't care. Also, Lithien
comparing himself to Phaedrus of ZMM is pathetic. It was his opinions
and reasoning that the chairman couldn't stand not P's conduct in
class or his writing style. The rules that you have been asked to
observe have nothing to do with anyone's philosophical opinions, but
are laid down to prevent one contributor drowning everybody else in
the said stuff and to ease reading by - f.ex - not using html (that
need to be opened in different browsers). You can have as many
shocking views as you wish and not be "thrown out", but if freedom
means being impervious to polite hints about this ....well; "goodbye
was all he wrote."

Again, it eludes me how you find editing your messages and
refraining from posting each time an idea enters your head such a
dramatic "situation". As Maggie says. If one overlooks the social
element to existence one has not understood the first thing about the
Quality idea. If the MOQ is to survive into the twentyfirst century
- or the third millennium - some static latching is needed,
intellectually and socially. .

Increase your tolerance a notch, keep smiling and stay on :-)
