My first bike was a '75 Honda CB750. Chopped, raked and otherwise modified
for maximum DQ experience.

My last bike was a '78 Honda CB750. I sold it last year after colliding with
an automobile at high speed. A low Quality experience I might add. I wasn't
able to feel comfortable with the bike after that, even though I repaired
it.

I'm currrently in the market for a Gold Wing.

As a long time service tech - read "mechanic" - I applied Pirsig's Quality
advice to quite a few repairs. Of the two "novels", I much prefer ZMM. I
have read it annually since at least 1981.

Back to lurking.
