When entering a debate it is usual to consider words in relation to their context. Complementarity,
as located in my exchange with Jonathan et al, clearly is to be taken in the context of the
Copenhagen interpretation of quantum weirdness. Jonathan introduced Shrodinger's cat on 24-01-99. I
replied the next day with total relevance. Said cat is a critique of Bohr's theory of
Complementarity. Another critique of the Copenhagen interpretation (more specifically,
Complementarity) was the "EPR" paradox which led Einstein to make the comment I reported and which
you regard as unhelpful. Einstein clearly thought it was helpful and I concur. Even more helpful was
Bohr's reply, as almost anyone who has taken a serious interest in the subject will confirm. It is
in fact vital to any understanding of Bohr's philosophy. You have somehow come to the conclusion
that my answer to a critique of Complementarity, raised by Jonathan, is irrelevant to
Complementarity. This is plainly wrong. There is no point in me saying any more if that is the level
of argument.
I can't be bothered to read the rest of your posting as it starts off with an utter absurdity and
past evidence shows that it will inevitably continue and end in the same fashion. I have nothing
constructive to say in the face of obvious nonsense and so, as has been reasonably requested, I will
remain silent.
