Since the MoQ seems to have the Quality of merging divisions into one I
suggest the following using the format of your original argument.

> Art theories are divided into two kinds:

> 1. Theories that attribute quality to a certain ingredient in Art
> 2. Theories which suggest that quality in Art is due to a relationship

These two schools should be merged into:

The quality in Art is due to a relationship between the artist, the art work,
and the audience where by the Artist is able to attribute to the Artwork a
certain Quality which establishes and maintains this relationship with a
nearly universal Audience over a long period of time.

If I knew how this was accomplished I'd be in Nirvana!
