Roger,
I meant to say that to construct a metaphysics around a [human] organism,
seeing it as a pivot, is not the same then to say that we don't know [as
humans] what the experience of quality [QE] in inorganic layers is.
But as I pointed out to assume that there is one and to refute its existense
are two different things [hold different value].
By the way I've heard that the two leadind theories you metioned, collide
[exclude one another]. This is most important, because sience holds them as
"competing theories", asumed but none of them refuted yet.
This is the major change in science since Popper. The ability to concentrate
on the act of refutation, as knowable knowledge, whereas conformation is
well out of human knowabilities reach.
In other words Science accepts Popper suggestion to treat its theories as
genetic mutation, letting the formation be arbitrary [an assumption, a
guess] and letting reality refute them in severe testing [survival].
