    Hi James Marshall

I'm not sure I follow your logic. You say my finding Ham's essay full of
platitudes suggests that I'm indiscriminate in my reading but the word
platitude means unoriginal thinking. How would I know the essay is
unoriginal if I'm indiscriminate in my reading?

Anyway, I take it you've read Ham's essay. Please if you would be so kind
(and I can tell from your post to me that you're obviously a very kind,
compassionate, and giving person), point out to this poor statically latched
indiscriminately mean-spirited reader just one original thought offered
there. It's entirely possible I overlooked something since I'm barely
    literate.

    Thank you for your comments,

    Dan
