Why don't you ask some Filipinos today whether they think their country is
"owned and operated by the U.S." and whether they were glad the U.S. rid
them of the Japanese occupation. You keep bringing up ancient history to
prove that the U.S. is morally equivalent to Nazi Germany, Stalinist
Russia, Maoist China and other secular socialist countries of the past 50
years. That's low quality evidence I'd say.

That's an idea of such low quality it requires no response.

I should have added PBS's version to Hollywood's version of Cuba being the
poor people's paradise.

Let's say minding your own business and a policeman or soldier from your
own government comes up and shoots your wife and children and then puts a
bullet in your brain. Multiple that millions of times. Then tell me about
the joys of communism.
