I cannot say whether or not Erin is right, but if so I may have stumbled into what I didn't want to.
New to moq_discuss I haven't had a chance to really watch the way we work. I've only begun to exercise quality in my work more recently when confronted with other people's sloppy work, knowing how I percieve them for their work is changing mine. It may be egotisticly driven at this point but I'd like the ego to get lost in what the body and mind do. (Tangent but relevant). I myself tried to compare MoQ to my inherrited theology (United Methodist by birth and heritage) and it led me round in circles running from demons and spirits in fear. If the quality of my religion at this point is based on fear (which I've always heard is an acronym for false evidence appearing real) then what is it's (religions) point? Social conditioning and structure;however, Jesus was not one who conformed himself from fear to these conditionings. If there was anyone who knew himself it would be that dude. The point I'm not making is that following MoQ in a structure is the same as trying to make it subjective or objective. Rather use your knowledge of quality to look at a structure for what it is. So while it is good to make connections to your image of Truth, to say Quality only applies to your truth would define Quality thus negating everything Pirsig was saying in ZMM. And the conclusion I'm now drawing for myself is only question and listen, don't let it solidify because then we turn into Cultists and Mass Groups of Elitests.
