    Platt, so I better understand what you mean by conservative, could you state
    your position on...

    Gay marriage
    Capital punishment
    Abortion rights
    Taxation on inherited wealth
    Liaise faire capitalism v mixed economy
    Any other specific issues that you feel define you as a conservative

    DMB, would I be correct to interpret your definition of socialism as
    "intellectually guided society"? I wonder if you and Platt mean the same
    thing when you use the term "socialism." To what extent should the
    government regulate economics?
