    Rick, Sam and all

So what is the connection between our favourite Holistic Detective,
Nietzsche and Pirsig / Phaedrus ?

All three use the experience of "falling then finding yourself flying" in
    their work.

    Nietzsche's tightrope walker in Zarathustra
    Adams with Dirk Gently
Pirsig in Lila (I think ? - hang on whilst I check the reference - I may be
    some time)

Who read who first ? Well we know Pirsig never read Nietzsche don't we ;-)

    Ian
BTW if you want rapid fire verbatim quotes from Douglas Adams, I'll set my
16 year old son onto you.

    Hey Ian, Sam, all,
I love Douglas Adams. So I just had to throw this one out for entertainment
    purposes...

"There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers
exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will
instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more
     bizarrely inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened."

    take care
    rick
