Mark H:
"I'm beginning to realize that, in this group, I'm the lonely beacon
of non-restraint when it comes to pushing the limits of the "good"
society."
Mark M. 30-5-04: Hello Mark H, I am sorry to read this. I do hope you are not
going for 'Most Radical 2004' prize or anything? ;)
The motorcycle we work on is ourselves, as you know. I value this mode of
generating change, and i feel there are many others in this group who do so too -
many of whom don't contribute on a regular basis.
Re. Good society. Personally, i should like to see an 'Author Scargill' type
socialist Britain, for example. This means free energy, food, clothing and
housing for everyone, especially the vulnerable. No questions asked - these
things are the right of all free people. Social institutions would be for people,
lead by talents who value the kudos of contributing to a vibrant society where
art and intellectual progress are the highest of values. International
understanding and exploration would be experienced by all children first hand.
I'm listening to 'Arabian masters vol. II' CD - EMI 7243 5 40010 2 4 as i
write.
So don''t give us this lonely beacon shit Mark H, ok? We're not all Platt
Holden's you know?
All the best,
Mark
