Kia Ora Tatoe (Hello Everyone)
Being a pragmatic type of person I
will put my vote to #9.

9)
i suggest we discuss
    the pragmatic implementations
        of the metaphysics of quality
            in the thinking space
                of the social/political
specifically, how does it concieve of and operationalize social agency?
and how does it approach matters of (governmental?) policy?
pirisigs' works have much to contribute to philosophies
of laws, revolution(aries), economics, free will.vs.determinism, etc.
which have tremendous implications for policy-making
let us systematize these meandering (?) political thoughts into one style of
thinking
for example, does a metaphysics of quality believe that the means
justify the ends
or that moral ends require moral means?
(warning: i'm not suggesting specific stances on political matters;
only specific ways of concieving/analyizing/valuing political questions)

The outline is a bit wordy however and I would simplify the concept to be
discussed (as a starting point. Being an educator I would discuss it in
light of education itself, as that would be the point of dynamic learning in
society that eventually finds it way into the static body of society itself.

As for the 'slow reading' of Lila chps 1,2,3 it has become apparent that it
was too broad an area to focus on, with or without moderators. Phaedrus'
experience with the girl with strong-lensed glasses who wanted to write a
five hundred word essay on the USA was paralleled in last months topic. As
she narrowed down her task to the Opera House, then the writing began to
flow. Remember how Phaedrus had a memory of his own dismissal from the
University for having too much to say. For every fact there is an infinity
of hypotheses. Phaedrus identified this outcome and the focus group
demonstrated it. What ever the path the group decides to take with this type
of moderated reading, these aspects must be kept in mind.

It has been an interesting past month and i appreciate the feedback. One
learns from their mistakes.

Ka Kite Anu (see you all again)
