Mark and 3WD: Whistles are blowing and flags are down all over the field.
(Sigh of exasperation.) There are two quotes you've inappropriately used.
The first quote is from ZAMM and so Pirsig can't be talking about the Giant
or social level static quality. He hadn't "invented" it yet. The second
quote is from Lila, but it is about Mysticism, not the Giant. Using this
stuff to back up your assertions about the Giant really doesn't work. The
quotes simply aren't in reference to the Giant. They're not even related to
the topic. C'mon guys, cheatin' takes all the fun out of it. DMB
