How about something TOTALLY different?
Anthony Mcwatt was doing post-graduate philosophy work on the MOQ. In his
efforts, he frequently corresponded with Pirsig. As such, his writings and
summaries of the MOQ include feedback directly from the source.
On the Quantonics site listed below, Doug Renselle has posted what I believe
is Ant's most comprehensive summary of the MOQ, complete with references to
similar Western and Eastern philosophies and some insights on apparent
dilemmas within the MOQ. Best of all, it has feedback from the author
himself.
My suggestion? Lets spend the month disecting Ant's paper. What new
insights lie within it? What do we agree or disagree with? What do we make
of Pirsig's commentary?
The paper can easily be reached at the following web site:

PS -- If this idea proves popular, we could even extend an invitation to Ant
and Doug and all the other 'originals' to re-enter the discussion.
PPS --Didn't you give pre-production input on Ant's work too Dan?
