Hi Bo & All,

> You are Joao of the "Yahoo Clubs"?
Yes Bo, hope to catch up there next month (working hard..).

> This is a tougher place ;-)
..no pain, no gain.

After reviewing my post, I feel it should be in the TRASH pile of slips...
I'll try to remember its meaning, and remove it from the TRASH pile (to
another pile or to the recycle bin).

I think it was meant to be a perspective on how the concept of time is
created in our intellect (in the first months of our lives). The perspective
was constructed from the potential ("our memory of each of these experiences
can include the memory of what was already in our Memory") and the value
("Time can then be used to bring coherence to these sequences of
experiences"). I'll try to go through your comments, but I don't see a big
development around.

> your "time as an intellectual pattern" means something necessary

(I meant that memory is something necessary for time)
The IPoV are a privilege of humans, or can we say that they're present in
other animals (even if in a primitive way)? I go for the 2nd one (maybe
you've discussed this already), but I feel you may disagree on this..

maybe: Time being an IPoV implies that IPoVs are present in other animals?
Again, what's the moq "pattern" here?

or maybe:

> Sorry for this independent entity - MEMORY (we're suspended in
> language, aren't we?).
Intended to show that the creation of an independent entity (in this case,
memory - guess it could be entropy) was needed to give autority to the
explanation of time as something with an independent nature. Meaning that
even if we could know it, we wouldn't be able to describe it. Elephant wrote
it best:
> Time passes, and there's an
> end on it. This is as much as we can say, this is what time is.
(in my last post, I went this way - "Time gains meaning as
we relate it to other patterns and create a context for it.")

or maybe something else.. ;-)

Cheers,
