Hi Magnus,
The month has reached its end, and so must this thread.

I don't think you are using "quantum patterns" in any sense a physicist would
understand.
I therefore find your terminology empty of meaning. I still maintain that your
quality EVENTS are themselves static patterns.

Sounds fair.

Here it is again . . .

I don't relate them to the "quality EVENT" because I don't know what the QE
is!!! Both Elephant and I have asked you to clarify.
However, I CAN relate subject-object patterns to QUALITY. Quality is the
bedrock of existance (a foundation of the MoQ). Patterns exist BECAUSE of that
quality. In general, a pattern can be characterized in subject-object terms,
i.e. a subject that perceives the quality, and an object in which the quality
is perceived. BUT, there is no unique way to make this S-O split, because it
is not absolute. Magnus and I can share the experience of eating a cake
together, but the subject-object divisions each of us make are different - and
the experience for the cake is different yet again. There is an inherent
assumption that we are all part of the same overall reality, but how we slice
it up differs.

Let me give my own answer to clarify.
Reality is made of Static patterns. These are realised from a POTENTIAL (DQ).
There is potential for a huge number of possible patterns.
However, only a very small subset of these patterns are ever realised, for two
reasons:
1. Some patterns would be mutually exclusive.
2. The precise course of events (interim patterns) needed for a pattern to
emerge may never pan out.
I know that the word POTENTIAL is loaded with meaning to physicists, but I am
using it in a more general sense that includes ALL the usual energetic
considerations and a lot more besides.
