Hi MoqFocusers

Thanks for the Welcome.

I haven't really lurked here for long, I meant on moq_discuss, where
things were always so overwhelming I never got into anything. I think
I actually went to the wrong side when Lilasquad split! Well Bo
mentioned the Squad/Focus on discuss and I joined in time for Level
5 discussion. I must say this focus thing is much better for me!

I've finished reading "The importance of being Ernest" by Oscar Wilde now.
(Which is why I was into my Victorian perspective).
I started writing:

The (most fun) characters all seem to be in the intellectual level
but using extremely sharp social skills to pronounce hilarious
nonsense with a great underlying sense of deeper meaning and
commentary towards society.

Then David Buchanan's post came through:

... It might include an improved and expanded use of language.
Maybe it could be described as the ability to convey the meaning of
distilled and penetrating thoughts, to be clear about the meaning of
paradoxical and ironic truths. It would be a creative, playful and
original use of thoughts and ideas. Such a "mind" could create
philosophy like an inspired poet instead of a lumbering technician, yet
      precision would not suffer.

This really hit me hard in the middle of my Oscar Wilde
Intelect/Social bridge writing!

There's something important here; I wrote "People/whatever influenced
by a 5th level will probably seem quite irrational" but this thread
makes me think that what it's all about is that we experience the
fifth level, and it's how good we are at describing down to the lower
level (intellect) that evolves the level.

I.e the 5th level has been there all along, but experiencing it and
trying to describe it in the lower level is what "creates" it for
that level and eventually allows it to dominate.

There could be more to this, but just a few replies (I'm practically
on Pacific Time here, gotta sleep):

Magnus:

I'm not sure I understood your writing:
   "Many people, on this list
but also others, claim that they think and talk about metaphysics and
philosophy "just for the fun of it". It doesn't really affect their lives
   much." .....etc.

   Really....!?

How are you tying this in with level5 = seems irrational and
   exercising free will?

Bo:
My "Succumb to entropy" line was a foggy shortcut for
"Finding way's to sort of withstand some law of entropy"
(With some vague idea of one of them being that complex particles
fall apart).
Wow! No precision and no vocabulary...MTV Generation...If language
is the machine
code of the intellect, I must surely be a fuzzy-logic RISC processor.
(I'm originally Canadian, so Norwegian is only to blame for being
such an inaccurate
   language and influence)

My "all levels inside intellect" line was more along the dimensions line than
actually encompassing: If the Intellect is the 4th dimension (in
MoQ levels space),
the other levels are free yet "inside" in the sense that they can't
point anywhere
else, so normal interpolation wont work, only analyzing the
difference between the
   levels/dimensions.

I'll have to look at the archives to see what SOLAQ is about.

Good night/morning all,
