Hello people,
Time to think about the next topic to be discussed in the MF forum. You have from now until 8pm
Sunday 29 February(GMT) to post topic suggestions. Please outline your proposed topic in a format
that can easily be answered as 'yes/no'.
Please use the same subject line as this post when you submit your topic. You can propose more than
one topic if you wish or re-submit one from last month. These can be found by visiting
http://www.moq.org/mf/index.html and selecting the 'Unused Topics' link on the left hand side of the
page.
As per the rules etc. of the MF list Wim (the proposer of the subject for February) should be
putting together a summary of the discussion (or nominating someone else to do it - as long as they
are willing). Also, each participant can prepare an informal "Opinion" consisting of their
respective yes/no vote on the topic-question and a brief statement (about 250 words or less)
explaining why they voted the way they did.
The February topic statement is: "Is it THE MoQ we are discussing (i.e. as meant by Pirsig) or are
we (should we be) discussing the merits of our various versions (with Pirsig's writings expressing
only one version or even a version that develops in time)?"
We're still taking posts for the current discussion if you have more to contribute. I will put out a
call for votes on the February topic on Saturday, deo volente.
Sam
