Doug,

If you really believe that you have a better metaphysical framework than
we are working with then it is your duty to share that framework with
others. You have raised an interesting point about quantum phenomena,
however your dialogue is rambling and ambiguous. All I am trying to do
is establish *what* you are saying. How can you expect to convince
others of your theory when you can't even explain it? Did you really
expect the world to see your table and without hesitation shift their
perceptions of reality?

If you genuinely believe you have something to offer then you're going
to have to be patient. You'll have to explain things clearly and calmly.
You'll probably have to cover the same ground over and over again.
However if your theory is valid, sooner or later people will see it.

Bodvar's point that the table may confuse casual surfers is valid.
However this can be overcome by a disclaimer, it isn't necessary to
remove the table.

Diana

This is just the type of confrontational and ineffective stance that I was
referring to in my "Quality?" tirade. (I do apologize to those of you how
have patiently and politely been promoting collaboration and mutual
growth.)

Diana, you may feel that everything you are expressing here is entirely
valid, but wasn't there a more tactful way of presenting this?

In so callously attacking Doug's position, I fear we have lost a valuable
ally in our mutual desire for understanding and growth. Thus I left the
subject of my post a bit ambiguous... "Quality?"

I wholeheartedly believe that we each have much to contribute to our
ongoing discussion. As in any situation we must be careful not deny or
overlook the necessary "latching" virtue of lower Social conventions when
pursuing our Intellectual goals.

Regards,
Jason
