A beautiful metaphor! Yes, from my point of view ultimate reality is pure
DQ which I believe is synonymous with pure beauty as I asserted in my post
of Jan. 23 on Esthetics. If we could arrive at total awareness, become God
so to speak, I believe we would experience the harmony of existence as
having such blinding splendor that we would faint dead away from the sheer
impact of its unbearable beauty.

Unfortunately, we're limited by the static pattern of our being to a
narrow, "framed" existence, moving as you've so eloquently pointed out from
frame to frame, depending on our SOM assumptions and changing circumstance.
Once in awhile, however, we get a fleeting glimpse of supernal beauty,
perhaps from the violin player in your metaphor if his name is Issac
Stearn.

Incidentally, an aesthetically astute photographer or painter might create
a framed object of beauty out of those chaotic strings in a pile on the
floor, proving once again the wisdom of your "many contexts, many truths"
insight.

Platt
