Lila Squad,
I am getting extremely nervous about the fate of the cosmos and the
earth, not to mention my immortal soul. I depend on the Lila Squad to keep
me on the straight and narrow and I have had very few messages of late. I
cannot believe that no one on the squad has had an opinion lately.
I have seen no reports of interplanetary contact so I have to conclude
that everyone is harboring the same beliefs that they had three days ago.
In this location Cornshell Mountain still looks and feels the same. Could
it be that President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky has everyone so enthralled
that they can think of nothing else. Lots of news happening here lately
after a dull January. Saves a lot of money on movie tickets. How can
"Titanic" compete with the news lately. There is a movement afoot here in
the US to pass a law that no one can legally have any sexual relations
unless they make application and certify that the act is solely being done
with the intent to produce another human being. Presidents, of course,
normally being too old for procreation will be barred altogether.
I am mightily pleased that the US is able to set such a good example for
the rest of the world.
I am still worried about the Lila Squad. Ken Clark
