 In my very first post I wrote:-

I also noted Horse's standard quote on the footer of his postings is:-

This is true of Science or any other human experience. The data, or the
experience is what is recorded/remembered.

Thus my definition of DQ is that it is what get things noticed. It is
what causes an event to be recorded as data or experience. DQ is neither
good nor bad - this requires further evaluation.
I find SQ actually much harder to define. So far, the best I can come up
with is that SQ equals knowledge. It is experience in a form or pattern
in which it is remembered. Thus SQ develops based on DQ. However DQ also
depends on SQ because it is experience which determines what gets
noticed.
