Yes, you have point. My last two e-mails were a bit too
emotional; I suppose what I am guarding against is the
perception of seeing the MOQ as a relativist theory.
In one sense you can say everything is the Good or good.
But a complete understanding of reality also recognizes that
some things are better than others hence the usefulness of a
framework such as the MOQ.
To see everything as equally good is to also perceive
everything as equally bad and returns us back to the
relativist quagmire. If my morals are seen as just as good
as your morals which are seen as good as the Chinese
leaders morals then anything goes. Even Bill Clinton
recognized that this isn't a proper way of viewing things
with his emphasis on human rights within China.
